I was living by the seaside again when i wrote this track
I always had a draw to be close to the ocean and being a water sign i feel it must be in my blood.
I was also going though a major transitory period in my life ,as i had left my old life behind to try to start a new one..never an easy thing.
how do i tell ya how i feel?..i had those words echo around my head for days and in the morning i heard the seagulls outside my window and i went out on the cliffs to record them and the sounds of the sea..and then i wrote this song

The summer may be gone like a long lost song
But every little thing must keep moving on
I will still stay true with the wind in my sails
I gotta break a habit when im sliding off the rails
I didnt think the distance would tear us apart
I gotta tell a story and i gotta make a start

I would rather stay ripped than dead in the water
I keep myself a float like a lamb to the slaughter
I must admit i find it hard to commit
to on ideal when the truth anint real.
When the only thing left is a string of days
in a one way ticket to a long lost wave

Time and memorys became as faded as my jeans
Ive been alone so long ive forgotton what it means
I wanna find some love before i get to old
I wanna make amends can this really be the end
Or could it be a new beginning for you and me

Maybe in the future we will rise again
Where the tide meets the land got my hands in the sand
Cant point my finger where it disconnected
push of a button when you feel rejected
again?
